Traveling to america

Because 85 year old invalids are the new wave of terrorism.

The most unsuspicious ones are the most dangerous ones. Lookin' at this photo, I can see the senior lady's ability to whirlwind through the entire airport security pass to reach her target.

Dutch dont come all the way to America and see a Jazz game on the road.
Unless you go to Memphis so Cyrone can give a full report of just how
****ed up you are in person.

not to belittle utah. but going all the way to slc for a jazz game. with little else,
while other (nba)citys have more to do or more to see. then i have to take that trade off into account.

if you know what I mean. i have to take other things in account especially if my better half also travels with me

I am shopping for airline tickets. but reading the rules for traveling.
and i'm reading that bagage should not be locked, so that the gestapo can go in my back. and take a peek at my strap-on, ***** and vibrator collection. did i say gestapo i meant Team Sexual Assault
is this rule still applied. i am real anal about my privacy.
but i really want to watch utah jazz play IRL. (either in utah or some other city, when schedule get released i could see some dates.)

so this whole gestapo/tsa thing really irks me.
is this an over-exaggeration have you guys traveled and locked your bag.
i have been on some traveling forums and people jsut locked their bag and has not been broken open.
another option is to travel with everything in my handbag. and than tape a few bottles with water together with ductape put some wires on it.
and put a paper with "BOOM **** you gestapo/TSA" on it. just to let them knwo that they suck. and i am taking a stand.

what you guys think.
for a week i can live out of my carry- luggage

My Suggestion: Don't.

Aren't they supposed to check randomly? If that is the case how can you blame them for checking an old lady?

And if we announce to the world we're not checking old ladies and infants it opens a pretty big door for anyone planning an attack.

It's not about applying the rules, it's about the legitimateness of the practical appearance of those rules.

security theather

That's just it, the standards and methods are woefully inadequate. If someone is determined to get a bomb on a plane the random security checks are not going to stop them. Do you think that the security checks in general are a secret? They know exactly how we look for contraband and what exactly we are looking for. Showing them we are going to check old ladies and babies in an effort to "keep them on their toes" is ludicrous. I seriously doubt there is a single terrorist cell in the world that had a conversation even remotely like this:

Terrorist 1: "Ok our 5 year plan to get a baby and an old lady, then load them up with explosives and roll them onto the plane is almost complete. No one will ever suspect since they obviously won't check old women and babies. It is brilliant!"
Terrorist 2: "Hang on, look at what I just saw on google. They check old ladies and babies. NOOOOOO!!"
Terrorist 1: "Drats, foiled again!"

I just don't think the terrorists are that dumb that what the TSA is doing is functioning as any real deterrent at all. The TSA methods at airports are just short of being a complete joke.

To Dutch's point, interesting quick read about the man who first mentioned "security theater":
