^^Blah blah blah. So is Harrison Barnes a "freak" athlete with that 38" standing which clowns Booker's 36' max?

Show us a jaw dropping Vince Carter like dunk from Barnes. If you can't, then the only logical conclusion is those tests mean very little in the grand scheme of things. Booker can use every bit of his vertical on a basketball court, while most NBA players probably use between 60-80% for various reasons (small hands, coordination, balance, etc).
Who is this referring to?
Why are you so angry?
reading comprehension please. i already said vertical is just 1 little part of athleticism. barnes is athletic, but he doesn't have booker's dunking ability.
vertical is also just 1 part of dunking.
Booker finished 1st, 2nd, and 5th respectively in speed, strength, and agility in his class. He passes all the tests. Let's just admit he doesn't have the elite handles (an unmeasurable quality) to show it all off.

i love booker's dunks. i just love his ferociousness. but my verdict = not a freak.
i already said he is a B+ athlete. i'm just saying he isn't once in a generation type of freaky athlete. i'm just a tough grader.
poythress is even taller, had better hops(41.5), bench press(26 times) and agility tests(10.4). only thing booker has on poythress is sprints. poythress ran 3.16. and most likely he will improve his number. is he the next big thing? i don't know. numbers say he is much freakier than booker will be. numbers say he is a genetic freak. but what happens poythress never really pan out and doesn't show his freakiness on the field? i think wiggins is an almost freak. not the once in a generation type. but wiggins does show great 2nd and 3rd effortless jump. but i wanna see his body control, stamina and just overall package.
honestly i really don't care for these numbers. d rose put up lousy numbers. it was good, but definitely 'freaky'. but IMO healthy drose is an elite athlete. i would give drose A grade based on what i see on the court. game speed matters for me. and yes, drose makes everybody else looks like an ***.

42.5 (standing vert, compare that to booker's 31 inch)
now that's a real science. you tell me trevor booker is that kinda athlete? if you call booker a freak, than call taht beast something else.
guys like booker probably runs 4.6 range at best. most likely 4.7 range. broad jump? i've never seen nba guys do broad jump, but i would be impressed if he can get to 10ft. nba guys have do not have powerful leg muscles(not the norm) like NFL guys. so their standing vert is pathetic. booker's 31 inch standing vert is respectable, but hardly a freak category.
but honestly, it really ain't science. there is something called jaw dropping test.
310lb guy jumping 30 1/2 inch is more impressive than 36 inch vert by 240lb guy. there are plenty of them in the nfl.

hell about about tim tebow's 38 1/2 inch standing vert?
