What's new

Trey Burke just tweeted this:

At least he knows what is being talked about in Jazz Nation.

The Jazz used two picks to get him. He'd better figure it out.
Exactly. He needs to realize his awful SL play caused concerns with the fanbase. I don't care if his feelings are hurt. The guy gave the fans NOTHING to be positive about in Orlando. Well, I take that back, he did at least try to move his feet on defense. And his shots usually hit the rim instead of being air balls. Clark was fantastic, especially in that last game. We're looking for something positive and Ian provided that. Burke had 4 games to show something...anything, and failed. Let's hope the tweet gives him motivation.

I'm confused.

Well, I've noticed that part of the way I feel about a poster has to do with the way I react to their avatar. I noticed it specifically when a poster changed from a happy fun avatar to one with a super nasty looking dude on it. I started reacting more negatively to that person's posts.

So, does having an avatar that reminds you of Kevin Costner give you a better or a worse impression of me, say compared to a pic of me raising a glass or a poker chip?

Rep, rep, rep, rep, rep!

Ok, I'll rep as soon as I spread some around.

I'm taking all this with a grain of salt.
I will say that it worries me a little bit. Someone that I consider to be mentally tough shouldn't be tweeting/re-tweeting anything like this, at all. Imo, it shows weakness.

I actually think that Clarke will be a better fit for the starters than Burke. Like I have said before, I think that the offense will run through Gordy and that means that the Jazz need shooters and defense. Burke has struggled mightily with both of those things so far in his very young NBA career.

That sounds pretty good lol but I like the current one since I'm a fan of classical era art of American popculture that is emphasized in a game called Fallout which I also am a fan of.

False and false.

Let it play out and you will see.. and you'll be searching a new schtik.

Not if a person of that age. That generation fell right into the hands of social media and they can be a little messy about their reactions until a certain age comes and they know better not to fool around or even reply to anything that mocks them or favors them.

I understand the 'average' kid.. but he's not supposed to be average. He has been advised, I assure you. With all the high profile kids coming through UK there has not been a single ill-advised tweet from any of the lottery picks. None.

It is fair to hold these 'kids' to a higher standard. Most kids aren't on multi-million dollar contracts representing a professional sports company and tons of fans. I don't want to hear anything like sour grapes or whining.. nothing.
