He's turning it the **** around this year, boys. Y'all best believe.

Replaced by a cardboard cutout of Bryce Cotton.

Seriously, he's going to make Quin's head explode this season when he's shooting his 38% (and I'm not talking 3's) and freezing Hood/Burks out of the offense by running down the clock and then going 1-on-3. Look for Utah to pick up a veteran PG at the deadline as they're making their push for home court. Trey plus a 2016 pick projected in the early-20's will be enough to make a pretty good trade.

The hate is strong. Good.

Will make his redemption that much more pimp.

I will never lose faith in Him.

^^
It's not really his shooting that makes my hate strong. When he started last season, he didn't pass to Hayward or anyone else. He thinks he's AI. Which would be fine, I guess, if he could shoot. Jazz offense is about ball movement and finding the best shot. Burke is a pint-size version of Big Al. The offense stops when he has the ball.

Look what Quin did with DeMarre and Millsap.

I have full faith in Burke still, he is a good shooter believe it or not. His percentages will go up.

He is a good off the dribble mid-range shooter, which is one of the worst shots in the game. Every other shot he is well below average.

I am not a hater per se. I just think he has already reached his full potential. I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong but my prediction is more of the same. I don't think he will get worse (although people kept saying that about Cj and he just kept getting worse) but I really don't think he is getting much better either. I think what he was at the end of last season is what he is.

Will get solid backup bench minutes and a chance to shine, if he doesn't Cotton will be ready to jump at the chance. Wait and see until draft deadline then maybe trade fodder...

I don't want him jacking shots.
It's maddening to have a below-average shooting, below-average defense, below-average height, below-average athleticism, PG throwing up blanks while we have guys running the court watching him do it.

Sweet! He goes from a horrible shooter to just a mildly bad one with the same bad assist and rebound averages than last year! TO VICTORY!!!

I want to believe Dala, I do, but I just cannot bring myself to embrace the hope on Burke.

Dude if he averaged those #'s that would be very good shooting for PG's.

If he can shoot 43/37 on 6-8 shots a game I'll be happy with him as the backup. Unfortunately, I think he'll lose his job by ASB. I had such high hopes too.

Didn't you know? PGs going into their third year is when they make their big jump.

/JazzFanz truism

It seems unlikely he will improve his shooting or his ability. Its not like hes young, motivated and hard working player. We should hate him for shooting so much last year like the coaching staff told him too.

Do you think his court vision and BBIQ will improve as well? How damn hard is it for a point guard, at mid court, running a 3 on 2 fast break, to see an open player waving his hand at the 3-point line? But Burke, because he was told to carry the scoring load by his coach, knew it was his job to drive into the paint against two defenders and throw up a prayer that wasn't answered.

PGs going into their third year is when they make their big jump.

He's never going to get bigger ,more explosive ,or quicker and this is going to continuously lead to the same results.

And the thing that always pissed me off the most ...was how bad he was in defense at the top of the key, Kanter was a poor defender but Trey Burke was a major cause and effect to Kanter taking sole blame by the fanz for the Jazz defense .....whereas I always saw Burkes assignment attacking Kanter after blowing by the stuck in mud defense of Trey Burke
