Steals and blocks aren't everything on D, but Lyles has slightly increased both his block and steal numbers per 36 mins, and reduced his fouls/36 at the same time. Not great numbers or huge changes, but trending in the right direction, indicating improved focus and effort.I've seen strides made by Lyles defensively. He still sucks but he definitely seems improved. Gives me hope for the future.
I'm a bit more optimistic about Lyles than I am with Exum right now.
