A raging socialist movement? No we are witnessing a raging authoritarian ruler who cares for no one or nothing but the bottom line. A pig who will bleep anything in a skirt so long as they have reached the age of puberty, who has no compunction about cheating on his wife or violating women without their consent, who takes babies from their mothers, and wants to start a war with countries who don't agree with his economic views. Raging socialism, when where? Well, let's just abolish the public schools, the fire department, the police departments, the public utilities, social services of any kind, and take away healthcare from poor people. Let's just privatize everything and put the banks in charge. You're so bleepin ignorant. You're everything that is wrong with this country. You're probably one of those persons who will get a gun and shoot anyone who disagrees with you, especially if they're black or from another country, who would put a woman in prison if she got an abortion. I'm sure you're cheering about the protester who the police killed outside the detention center in Tacoma. Guess you're excited because Trump wants to sell off the land in our National Parks and wants to frack and put oil pipelines through areas where the largest reservoir in the world of pure spring water resides. Of course, you believe Global Warming is a money-making hoax. Right, just like Herr DDT?

When I got back from hiking today, I saw a headline about Trump tweeting something racist. My first thought was it was probably going to be a stretch to make a good headline. Then I started seeing other news covering it so I googled it.

All I have to say is how the hell is this guy president. If he would have shown those tweets before sending them out to literally anybody they would have advised, "You know, I don't think that's a good idea. You're coming off racist af. Don't tweet that." It's apparent the guy doesn't give a **** and it's sad he's the president.

I sweat we're living in an alt reality.

I would say so. I've read so many horrible things about Trump lately it just makes my blood boil. In my humble opinion he is the most horrid leader that our nation has had in my lifetime and it's not even close. He is so divisive and incites hostility everywhere he goes. It seems the only people he gets along with are dictators or pedophiles and that's only in deference to his position. I'm sure they think he's an a-hole too. Look what he did to his personal lawyer, Muellar, letting him take the fall for his corruption. What a sleezebag.

I'm a byu fan and tonight on the news I saw an interview with their starting qb and he said he is a fan of trump as president (the question was asked, who is your favorite president of all time) because he is funny.

I lost a lot of respect for him tonight.

Not a single republican today spoke out and condemned Trump’s words. Not one. No one from his cabinet and no one from Congress.

I understand the racist cult 45 will never leave their Dear Leader. But damn, I really hope everyone else votes Democratic in 2020. We can argue policies later. Pro life pro choice pro guns pro gun regulation? Who gives a damn right now? We need to unite and dump Trump. Decent people everywhere deserve someone better as leader of this country.

Amazing. See what I mean? I mentioned this in another thread but so many Utahns are naive. Zach Wilson is from Draper. Went to corner canyon high school, one of the nicest and (whitest) schools in the state. Could be racist? Probably not. But damn, naive. I wonder how his black and Hispanic teammates feel? “Because he he funny.” Great. That’s exactly what we should be looking for in a president.

Corner canyon’s student body is 85 percent white. It’s easier to be ignorant of Trump’s dividing of America when you aren’t exposed to the racial fault lines or aren’t studying them that Trump is exploiting.

Not before they install a judiciary that can keep the minority into power. We’re quickly becoming almost an apartheid state; where non-college educated white evangelicals in rural America rule/have the most political power while those on the coast and living In major cities don’t. One vote in Wyoming already counts as much as 6.3 votes in California. Give Mitch, Donald, and Kavanaugh another few years and they’ll find ways to keep the GOP in power for decades. Hell, they’ve already been consolidating power since Clinton.

The senate is a major problem that I’m unsure how to solve.
