I don’t read the articles I post? Even your psychic abilities are batting zero. I’m not surprised when you decline to include the entire passage. And this was explained to you sometime ago, in another thread, as I said.

But the other 94% of deaths were still caused by COVID-19, infectious disease experts said. Lol thats common sense if you don't have underlying conditions though. Obesity isn't going to kill a person with covid. Underlying conditions from obesity may but Trump has none so quit fear mongering. Remember you and most here stupidly said 75,000,000 at minimum will get sick and millions will die.

The differences in these two statements were pointed out by One Brow when the subject was raised before, at the time the CDC’s 6% statement was first being reported. I suspect One Brow’s citation is a more accurate interpretation. Either way, it was misinformation at the time to say the CDC had revised downward the number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic.

And, as I pointed out at the time, higher estimates derived from a model that assumed no mitigation whatsoever took place. Just let it run it’s course, and take no steps at all to mitigate it. I reported on the various models, in fact, and their estimates. You called that reporting “fear mongering”, and you still do. You attributed ulterior motives, on my part, involving myself deliberately trying to spread fear and panic, when in fact I was simply relating scientific studies in a thread where the subject was the coronavirus. You decided that reporting on what the studies were modeling should never be mentioned in a thread about a coronavirus pandemic. And you assumed the absolute worse that you could assume of me, without knowing me at all, then called me a fear monger, based on your assumptions, and have run with it ever since. I’m not the only one to whom you attribute disturbing ulterior motives. By now, it just comes across as you being you, but I don’t truly know why you do that. I don’t know you.

Bull... You said none of this but in hindsight I bet you wish you would've but you and others told me that with exponential growth its going to happen. If you would have said this i wouldn't of spent weeks educating you and many others here basic math. The flat out argument was that 75,000,000 would not get sick. There's absolutely no it's ands or buts. I was explaining how mathematically its astronomically impossible. You guys were telling me how stupid I was because I didn't understand how exponential growth would make 75,000,000 MINIMUM, sick. That was the entire argument.
