Nothing is going to happen to Trump while President, even this tape won't change it. I highly doubt that democrats are going to pursue it because they have other things they want to do. Republican will do nothing because he is a republican and the GOP has already show they have no ethics and will just blow it off as Trump being Trump. Personally, I think he should go to jail over it and be impeached.

The comments from the Trumpsters in the Georgia elections are mind-boggling. I cannot believe how many people have swallowed his **** hook line and sinker. People were talking about how he won the state "in a landslide" along with all other states as well of course. They fully believe there was rampant fraud. This has to be the deepest any conspiracy theory has dug into Americans in general. Unbelievable.

I'm ok with this. Might be a chance to get a viable third party out of it. There is really a need for a party more moderate than either of the 2 ****-shows we are stuck with now.

I must confess, this thought went through my mind as well. Perhaps the ultra-right-wingers follow Trump to a new party, and a new, more moderate, centrist Republican party emerges from the ashes of this fire.

I think the biggest thing that surprises me in all of this, sadly, is that so many Republicans are surprised at Trump’s behavior.

Maybe start another fraudulent university or fake charity that steals money from kids with cancer. You can remodel one of your properties, if you aren't bankrupt again. When that's done you will have the joy of stiffing all the hard working contractors, like you always do. You won't have to fake act about being religious or have to tear gas peaceful protesters to go hold bibles upside down. You will be free to talk about sexually assaulting women whenever you want. You won't have Jeff Epstein or G. Maxwell to prowl around with looking for new young "talent", but I'm sure Rudy Giuliani is up for the task. You should be able to "grab" a few without their consent.
It would be nice if before you leave you could get Mexico to pay for the wall, give us that "incredible" health care plan and release your taxes, like you said you would. On that note, good luck with the Southern District of New York DA and your tax fraud case. I'm sure you have nothing to hide. It's too bad that you can't pardon yourself from state crimes. On that pardon thing, nice job pardoning all of the convicted felons on your campaign, that was almost as good as pardoning the private contractors that murdered those unarmed men, women and children, and broke international law, ...oopsie.
Also, thank you for leaving us with this incredible economy, with only the highest deficit and unemployment in history, it goes well with this raging pandemic, caused by gross incompetence. You were right "America First!" First in Coronavirus cases and deaths, first in currying favor with the world's dictators and a big number one at pissing off our greatest allies and losing their trust.
If possible, could you also please release all of the election fraud evidence that you and Rudy keep talking about. It would really help the die hard followers not look like complete and utter idiots, especially when they are trying to have a coup, overturning a free and fair election, and storming the U S. Capitol.

This. As soon as Trump started talking about the election being a fraud months before the election many conversations I had turned to how he would try to hold onto power. We even discussed it here on JF. Yet now all of a sudden, when people have it thrown in their face what a **** Trump is, the "man" they voted for, they have to go into denial to save face. Pathetic.

It’s pretty sad seeing so many Republicans asking for Pelosi to refrain from impeaching him a 2nd time and pretending to care about healing. Where was their concern for healing throughout November and December? Did they care about having a peaceful transition? Where was the desire to heal when it was obvious that Biden won?
Now that five people are dead and a clear attempt to overthrow the government was made, now they pretend to care about healing?
If they wanted to heal, they’d join with Democrats right now and remove Trump’s fat treasonous *** from the White House and demand that all those terrorists in the Capitol building be brought to justice.
Instead, Rs are merely trying to get through the new cycle. Only short term and very unserious thinking. They seem in denial about what happened this week. As if they don’t want to take responsibility for five people dying.
