Yes they are separate groups. But over all it adds to the chaos IMO. Does give me hope that Turkey will accept a Kurdish state of the right people run it.

Looks like Turkey is getting ready to dramatically increase it's military presence and involvement in Iraq.

Turkey is gathering military forces along their border with Iraq.
Turkey as also warned Shia militias against joining the battle for Mosul. Shia militias are already en route to Mosul though. Turkey has said any atrocities by the militias will force Turkey to get even more involved.
Legit concern or is Turkey looking for an excuse to invade northern Iraq?
