Trevor Booker is still a free agent and I think a better player than Udoh, who has yet to be renewed. But we need a center more than an undersized PF who doesn't shoot the 3 very well. Who would you take?

I honestly didn’t think Udoh was that helpful last year. He disappeared a lot and couldn’t get off the bench, even with injuries.

His playing time went to almost none when Favors came back from injury.

His defense was great. He got a block or two almost every time he played because opposing players thought they had free reign to attack the rim with Gobert out. He surprised a lot of teams with his length.

His offense was bad.

You answered the question in your question.
Sure, Udoh has the edge because of position, but Booker adds some intangibles. In small ball, he could play center against players like Draymond. And also would be a fair match for Tucker under the basket. If only he could shoot the 3 like P.J.

We need Udoh more then we need Booker. I’d rather give minutes to Niang then Sign Booker. Not sure where he’d fit with this roster. Not sure why this is a thread

Booker's ugly *** shot and how many layups he missed. Great guy, but Udoh is much better and he's a good dude too.

They are both really good guys.

Ill vote for Udoh because I like his book club, and he is more useful on our team.

Advanced stats loved Udoh last year. His defense was really good and him and Favors played pretty well together.

But Booker is one of my favorites. I wish we could always keep him as our 15th guy who runs comes in and brings some energy now and then.

Both udoh and Booker can come in at any point and make a difference.

Booker is a great guy, but he can't shoot. Neither can Udoh, but Utah needs a player who can fill in at the 5 if Gobert or Favors misses a game. Jazz don't have the same need for a #4 PF.

Udoh is coming back with a three point shot. Just you watch. Stretch 5.

Oh I thought it was devin booker.

I liked Booker but I'll admit I think this was most definitely the right decision. If we didn't have Crowder, then maybe we would do it, but still Book's outside shot is a problem.
