Yeah OK, but the point of my original take was more, if you can pick a future star for your franchise - do you go for the ultimate 2-way player (Paul George) or do you go for top 5 scorer (Carmelo)?

It would depend on circumstance. If you're saying the two-way player is George and the top 5 scorer is Carmelo, I'd likely take George. But Gordon isn't George and Jabari isn't Carmelo. If you're thinking Paul George is a good comparison for Aaron Gordon, you may want to consider still looking for other comparisons.

Consider the question answered.

Gordon has been playing real basketball games in the last month or so?

Haven't you heard? He's been shooting well in workouts. I also heard Jabari's defending well the past month.

Gordon is the girl with great boobs but she has some red flags. The boobs are so great though that you convince yourself those other weakness are not so bad in fact you'll convince yourself she'll regrow that 1 leg she has missing.

In all seriousness, if she's got a pretty face, great boobs and a fantastic *** I can probably overlook the whole missing leg thing. All those other positive qualities are pretty much good enough for me to be happy.

I realize that she doesn't have that leg, but everything else is nice. And if she had that leg, there's no way in hell that I'd have a shot at her.

Shooting is probably the one skill that's has the greatest track record of improving. It's not like hoping he gets taller or his wing span grows over night. In your anology it's like a fine *** women with that dresses poorly and wears too much make-up. She's just young and don't know any better.

I guess my biggest concern would be whether it was amputated above or below the knee. Personally, I'm an above the knee kind of guy.

I don't disagree with you. It appears that he has a mental hurdle he needs to overcome which is pretty apparent at the free throw line. I'm assuming if the Jazz choose him they also think his shot is something they can fix over time.

If we're going to say we can overlook those things and realize that, without those flaws, then we wouldn't be able to obtain him, what would this same analogy say about Jabari? "ZOMG CANT DEFEND CARDBOARD CUTOUT!!11 LOLZ"

If Jabari is really there at 5 I think we have to take him and figure everything else out. And I love Aaron Gordon. Don't know where the 17 ppg thing came from. Gordon is more like a 14 ppg guy.

If Jabari is there at 5, I think it's a no-brainer. The question becomes if you're willing to pay any price to move up to get Jabari vs. sitting tight at 5, taking Aaron Gordon (who is still a very good player, but not the offensive star that Jabari should be) and just adding him to the talented group of young players currently on the team.
