Mitchell going 5/14 is fine for a game like this.
Waiters was 7/20 and made the big shots in the clutch.

Rookies are almost never good shooters. A good way to predict whether they will become good shooters as they find their spots is ft percentage. Ball is 50% Mitchell is 86%At what point will people notice this and stop defending him? Lonzo Ball his getting so much heat and Mitchell gets the rookie pass.
He is a good shooter. He has some poor shot selection, partly through inexperience and largely through necessity. But like a lot of people on Jazzfanz you have an inability to separate the process from the results.
Higher volume = Less efficiency.
How many rookies shoot as much as Mitchell?
As soon as Snyder took Thabo out and put Favors in we started playing like trash and gave the lead away in the 4th.. What the hell was he thinking here?
I take some positives out of what I've seen to. This team is constructed very different from last years'. Give them a few more games to start turning the corner offensively.
It's kind of weird, but I'm a bit encouraged after these games. The D is still elite but the offense is horrendous, but they are still in games. They just got to figure out how to be consistently mediocre offensively and not go through these quarter long dry spells, which is in the cards. Hood is starting to draw fouls at a nice rate
It's like if you play players constantly and dont give them rest they get tired and perform at a sub-optimal rate.
