Here's last night's entire game. Really good game and the Laker announcers are a refreshing listen.

Yep.
My expectations for lyles are really low.... I hated that pick.
Having said that I like him and if he can be a good shooter then I think he will prove me wrong since he is a skilled ball handler and passer for his size/position/age.
If he contributes much this year then it's just icing on the cake.

may as well replace him with a good floor-spreader and excellent off-ball player. (Hood).
can you find a video like this from last nights game for Alec? I couldn't find one anywhere
If last night is any indication, Lyles' feel for the game and skill level are terrific. Needs to add some strength. If Lyles can become a consistent 38%+ three-point shooter (especially from the top of the arc), then....... very nice. When open, I'd like to see him take that without hesitation. He's very good at attacking a closeout.

I was actually really thrilled by the Snyder decision to foul immediately when we were up three with less than ten seconds left. That ultimately ended up with the Lakers hurling an air-ball in the corner because they knew they had to rush the shot to avoid getting fouled and sent to the line for two.
Obviously there are risks inherent in the "foul fast" strategy but over a long period I suspect it will decrease the chances of game-tying hail mary threes as people learn that this is Snyder's preferred strategy.
