Despite the insistence to put Okur in the game for the beginning of the fourth quarter, only to add to his team-worst +/- (by far, despite only 13 minutes of court time), at least Sloan had enough sense to use one of the combos that work most: DW-CJ-AK-PM-AJ.
This is the best lineup that I would reasonably predict that Sloan would use (and predicted to work on page 1), and at least CJ was wisely played more than Bell was (also recommended in this thread), given that CJ was doing better.
If such an approach to playing time (giving a player a minimum 10 minutes like is being given to Mediokur--and more PT if he's doing well) were afforded to Fes, Hayward, and Evans, at least when the matchups indicated it, these young players would be further along.
This is the second of two games since MO's return that the time when he has been on the court has been a signifcant negative out there--to the tune of double digits (obviously not all on him). Fortunately tonight's opponent wasn't as talented.
