He looks amazing in these highlights. Will need to see what he looks like against NBA size and physicality, but he could become our starter at the 1. He plays at NBA speed and shoots with NBA+ range. He's got advanced timing and advanced footwork, which enabled him to freeze defenders and get his step.

Not only that but the reports say that Warriors were actively trying to hunt a pick so they could get him. Lots of teams who liked him a lot.Might have tipped Miami to our interest. Everyone knew they had promised him at 20.
Maybe Warriors are looking for next Steph Curry and now Jazz have himNot only that but the reports say that Warriors were actively trying to hunt a pick so they could get him. Lots of teams who liked him a lot.
He plays like a semi-poor man's DWill to me.
Has exact same measurements as curry. 6’2” barefoot, 6’4” wingspan, 8’1” standing reach, but weighs 20 lbs heavier and a year older. This is interesting. His balance / body control does remind of D-Will. Has the same ability to pull up from anyone and square his body towards the rim mid-air.
Watching him the first player I thought of was Steph.Has exact same measurements as curry. 6’2” barefoot, 6’4” wingspan, 8’1” standing reach, but weighs 20 lbs heavier and a year older.
One thing I remember was the warriors were super high on Devin Booker when he came out. Can’t find the article that I read ten years ago, but the front office was very complimentary of him before the draft, knowing he wouldn’t be available to them.
Not a natural playmaker, but a natural leader and someone who can can manage an offense in a way Sexton doesnt do. End of the day he's a potential elite shooter, and you want to those players starting if they can hold their own in the other facets.I think people should picture WCJ in a Sexton like role vs a starting point guard role. I posted this in the other thread, but even though they have very different games, the results are very similar. WCJ is not a natural playmaker, and probably not someone that you would want playing point guard, especially when surrounded by other non play makers.

We will see. I expect he's the clear cut starting PG by the end of the season.I think it's fine to hope for that, but not fair to expect it.
Most likely WCJ plays a similar role as Sexton, bench scorer or guard you play next to another point/combo guard.
