If other teams' fans were voting in this, they would leave Al in the top 5 or 6 along with Favors, Hayward, Kanter, and Burks. It would be a coin flip as to whether Al is wanted more than Millsap, but I think most would keep Al in that scenario too. Just letting you know....

So you're really other fans?

Jazzfanz knows best.

And "other fans" mostly just look at points and rebounds. Heck, even some GM's do the same...how else to explain the enormous contract given to Carlos Boozer. It's only when you take a closer look that you can assess the real value of a player relative to his contract amount.

Al is a great low-post scorer. He's a good rebounder. Other than that? Well, there's the argument.

Maybe have an informal nomination thread and we try to work it down to 10 posters?

The most shocking vote to me is Colton voting off Kanter. Colton's not the foolin around type. (specially not on Sundays.)

As mentioned in the last round, I thought he had a reasonable rookie season, but I'm by no means sure he will ever be good enough to be a starter on a playoff team. I HOPE he will be, but it's not a sure thing. Combine that with a hefty price tag that comes with being the third pick, and that's why he got my vote.

eesh. No way in hell. Seriously, head over to realgm and put up a poll.

edit: I just put up a poll on the RealGM "Player Comparisons" Board.
