What's new

Utah Jazz vs Dallas Mavericks Monday 10-30-17 @ 7pm MST

Donovan Mitchell does something "wow" at least once a game, and I just love him for it. Special player.

Hood is such a great PNR ball handler. If you go under he can hit anywhere all the way to the 3. If you go over, and the big is back he can hold the guard behind him and get a shot off in between the guard and the big. If they hedge, we have great PNR bigs in Gobert and Favors so somebody will be open.

But he's plateaued as a PnR passer. He isn't very creative or forceful in that aspect. Had tunnel vision basically all of last year. If he were better as a PnR passer (and if he could stay healthy), then he'd be a legit #1 option.

His steal and assist to Thabo sparked a 15-5 run to close the game out. I love that he steps up his game in the 4th quarter. Bodes well for his development into a go-to scorer for this team.

I can agree partly with that. I think he can hit the big on a roll but I don't think he can be creative as you say and hit the corner when the help comes down. But another thing is he also rarely ever gets to/attacks the rim. That being said, I still think he is dynamic enough to be one of our best, if not best offensive weapons in the PNR.
