I still didn't turn the TV off though.Yep i agree for the most part. Im a byu fan and a huge jimmer fan. I thought it was absurd. I think its fine to cheer for him when he entered the game. But they went overboard.

Yes that was pretty sick. Gobert is the man.I still didn't turn the TV off though.
Did anyone see that Gobert putback dunk over one of their bigs? That was pretty awesome!
Gobert is at 275? dunks on the year, and tops for the year as well as tops for any player in any season. I think Dwight Howard had the prior record.Yes that was pretty sick. Gobert is the man.
Sadly, from what I understand gobert apparently set a record for most dunks in a season. Is that correct? If so, it was mostly glossed over.
That's a pretty awesome record to have imo. Surprised I haven't heard more about it.
Was it a jazz player dunks in a season record or an NBA record?

This is all true. The saddest part about the Jimmer stuff is he essentially became the kid at the end of the jr Jazz season that hasn’t scored all year... all the moms on both sides of the stands just wanted him to score.
He was legit the worst player I’ve seen play all year... awful on both sides of the floor. The cheering was weird.
That is pretty ****ing incredible and should be more talked about.Gobert is at 275? dunks on the year, and tops for the year as well as tops for any player in any season. I think Dwight Howard had the prior record.
Yep. Most dunks ever in a season. They only started tracking the stat until 98-99, but still amazing nonetheless. That is pretty ****ing incredible and should be more talked about.
I mean more than shaq? Holy ****!

You are probably right, but there is no way the team in Utah could handle this night in and night out.IMHO Jimmer would have suited up at least for 1 season for the Jazz IF they thought he wouldnt have been a distraction for the team.
This is all true.
However he had about 3 really good looks from 3 and they were right online and barely missed. He had a floater right down the middle of the paint that barely missed and is almost automatic for him normally. He missed a running bank shot (basically the same shot as his only made field goal) that barely missed and he makes most of the time. He missed a scoop shot that he will usually make.
He was off last night. Happens to most players on occasion. Spida was 4-14 last night. I have seen Rubio go 1 for whatever many times.
If jimmer gets the exact same looks in his next game then I would expect that he goes 6-10 and has 16 points (or something like that) in those 14 minutes. The good news for jimmer was that he was able to get his shot off for some high quality looks that he typically makes. He probably had some nerves and was adjusting to the NBA all over again.

I don't think that's really fair. He was trying on defense, and the Jazz players were definitely not giving him buckets last night. He's just not very good at defense and probably never will be but it's not for lack of trying... this time. His first stint, maybe... maybe not.I mean maybe... he still has never even gotten in a defensive stance... it wasn't just offense... everyone was giving him buckets.
He's just not an nba player other than as a novelty. I have always been Jimmer indifferent... He seems like a good guy... China is perfect for him.
It was weird but it was a 30 point game.. Anyone remember when Bogut came here the first time after getting drafted? It was a close game, the bucks may have even won. A bunch of tools that looked like they came straight from the U of U campus were in the building to cheer for an opposing player/team. I remember that really pissing me off. HahaCheering against the Jazz for some scrub was embarrassing. Our crowd taking L’s lately.
Rudy saying Jimmer got more cheer than we did tonight. ouch
