I'm sorry but we're at the IGS part of the season where Sloan needs to develop some of these young guys to see what we have for both now and the future, and also because half of the other guys don't deserve PT. Play Hayward more. Play Evans more. They bring energy, hustle and some brains.
I'd love to see us start Deron-Hayward-AK-Millsap and Elson. Screw Jefferson. Send a message. And while AK leaves a lot to be desired, I can't rationalize starting Evans or Miles over him. Off the bench, Evans and Fes should see more time while Jefferson and Bell should see time only if they're productive AND busting their ***.

Would not go as far as staring Elson. Other than an occasional mid range jumper complete nonfactor on offense. rather start memo or fes.

Sounds a lot like he could be talking about Jefferson. I think he mainly wants to sit there and just get the ball thrown to him in the post. That is one of the big things about Elson and Fes. They will at least set the screens. (not saying they should play more than Jefferson though). Also got killed on the boards again. That i think is a lot on Millsap in this one.

I think he's talking more about Raja Bell, possibly AK, but I think mostly Bell. The Jazz always run their wings through rather than to the corners. When they come through Deron can immediately throw them the ball on the wing and we can proceed with our UCLA set or some variation of it. Too often Bell runs to the 3pt line and stops. Bell is a 1-dimensional player on offense - a spot-up shooter and nothing more - and that can really hurt our offense.

I think Deron's just frustrated, 3 times in Washington I saw him make the same bounce pass that would be an easy layup for Boozer but Jefferson pulled up from 10-feet on the wing and Millsap missed a couple of cheapies after slipping the screen. I hate to keep blaming Al when he really competed hard and had a good game, but there was another play in the 2nd-half when Deron crossed someone in transition, penetrated and literally handed the ball to Al - placed it right in his chest - and Al missed the layup (he did get his own rebound and got fouled - making 1 of the 2 FT's) but it's things like that where this team just doesn't have the same offensive talent they've had in years' past.

Can we please stop losing to these crappy teams?
All of last year, we had 10 losses against teams who were not in the playoffs. Houston twice, Minny twice, Sacramento twice, New Orleans, Memphis, Indiana, and the Clippers. Some of those were hardly bad; Houston was 42-40 on the year, Memphis was 40-42 and played well. So far this season, exactly half way through the season, we have four losses against teams who as of now would not be in the playoffs. The Wiz, Golden State, Memphis and Phoenix.
Not so bad I guess but we're still just on pace for 54 wins.

Definitely better so far this season and other then SA no team in the west hasn't had their moments heck LA has had a few of them even at home this year.

With how he played in that game I understand your point but with how he's played in the MIA and HOU game I can also understand it, with as hot as DWill was from 3pt land I am a little surprised he didn't take the shot.
