Utah lawmaker wants to ban talk of contraception in schools

Where I grew up we had sex ed in sixth or seventh grade. We were shown condoms and I became self conscious that I'd never be able to have sex because I hadn't gone through puberty and didn't think my dick would fit in a condom, thus sex could not be performed (at least thats how I recall my thought process back then). I also remember a kid in my class asked the teacher what a coat hanger abortion was and got kicked out of the classroom for the period. Everyone laughed, but no one knew what it meant. I thought it was a sex act and he was being a wise guy. I also thought weed, marijuana and pot were different drugs at that time too (for context of my intelligence level as a 13 year old).

I hope this has helped the thread.

Why does it have to be abstinence only? Oral and anal are also very effective methods, and there's no need to discuss any rubber apparatus.

Problem solved.

I love our Utah Legislature. They are a never-ending source of amusement.

When country singers yodel 'bout "country boys and girls gettin' down on the farm" I'm pretty sure they've left their schoolbooks, and everything said in class, behind. Same as in the projects of south Chicago.

Parents who won't set an example of a good marriage and teach kids about general wisdom and consequences are just as worthless as public school teachers who want to indoctrinate kids or supply paraphernelia for biomechanical political correctness. Either way the kids are wrecked, and will just have to get smart on their own account, if they ever will.

I've heard GF confess that he's worried about people who choose careers that involve being close to kids, and I agree. School teachers who want to talk to teens or pre-teens about sex just make me wretch. There's something pretty kinky about an adult who can't adequately thrive in association with his peers, and particularly one who gravitates to younger and vulnerable kids, or who gets off on "authority". School teachers and cops should be psychologically screened by psychiatric professionals regularly. . . . . And in particular, anyone who thinks public schools are appropriate resources for addressing personal problems is really getting sucked into the whole statist world view. That's why I think we should turn to online education programs rather than classroom, and pretty much ditch the whole education budget. In real life you need to figure a lot of things out for yourself.

So here's my case in point:

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Superintendent John Deasy confirmed with Fox 11 News that he has seen some of the more than 400 photos of teacher Mark Berndt allegedly spoonfeeding his ***** to blindfolded and gagged students, some with cockroaches on their faces.

Anyone else find it a little odd that most pro-lifers are also anti-birth control?
Naw, the more discarded and/or poorly raised children, the better. It's no wonder the US has ridiculously high abortion rates despite being more conservative AND religious than most (all?) Western nations.

**** pragmatism. **** it in the ***. Hard.

also ironic that Spain, one of the most Catholic countries in Europe, allows both gay marriage and abortion.
