it's his fault he only plays defense every other home game for about a qtr.
he is getting paid millions he should bust his guts every single possesion.

He is no Dwight Howard to take 15+ energy demanding shots per game and play defense on every possession. He would be stellar if kept under 10 shots per game leaving more energy for defense. That's on Corbin.

Mo's not playing right now and without Millsap we are down 20-0 in the first quarter yesterday. Millsap isn't all world, but he isn't bad at all either. And he isn't being paid 15 million and taking the highest amount of shots this season. Huge difference between Millsap and Al/Tinsley/Watson/Marvin.

Watson and Tinsley get paid peanuts so you must give them a break then. Al is not bad either if utilized right. Make Millsap take 20 shots a night and see how well he will do.

Watson and tinsley are still overpaid (thats how bad they suck) Al is overpaid as well and if you ask most people around the nba about millsaps 7 million that he makes, they will say he is underpaid.

Huh. How much do you make? I'd be willing to bet you get paid peanuts. They still make around, if not more than 1 million a year. That's not peanuts. If the Jazz are going to make me pay $80 for a hoodie, $65 for a ticket, $8 for nachos, and $6 for a drink...I can boo.

Al takes 16 shots a game. Why can't we let Hayward take 3 more shots? Millsap take 3 more shots? Favors gets 2 more. Kanter with 2. Mo with three. Burks with three. Carroll with one. Williams with two? There you go.

Guess what? With Al gone, you would find that we would have more efficient possessions which = more points scored on our possessions. Also, with more efficient possessions, we would probably end up getting more possessions overall which = more points scored per game. I bet if you took Al out of the lineup, you would find that we become a better, more efficient team, and actually scored more points per game.

Exactly. Al = Foye, in that they are good at one thing. If you do not have them doing that one thing (shooting), then they are hurting your team. They are both bench players.

My take on that is he lacks effort on defense. Lack of effort comes from him saving energy for offensive possessions. Cut his minutes and make him take 10 shots or less and hold accountable for defensive effort. His efficiency will go up and defense will pick up.
I never said Al is efficient or plays good defense. If I were Corbin and had what he has this is what I would do to maximize our chances. I don't care about his pay what so ever. This is not coach's job to worry about these things.
Al is who he is. He is a product of bad coaching and hence I don't see why he should be boo'ed.
 
And green, your first post is classless. Booing guys every time they touch the ball means you're not even giving them a chance to do something positive before you're booing them.

We know that Raptors fans shouldn't be a good role model right? No matter how one particular player sucks booing your own teams player is classeless. But ill say next year when Big Al signs with another team as a FA, at his first game in ESA lets boo the hell out of him because of obvious reasons.
