Utah vs. #15 Pitt

I actually agree with everything you touched on, but the problem is that BYU fans have been telling us Utah fans for years that they don't rebuild down in Happy Valley, they simply reload. Problem is, you can't have it both ways. If this BYU program is where most Cougar fans say it is, they should be able to handle Jake Locker and Washington. Period.

I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek when I said I'm certainly picking BYU to win. In reality, I don't know enough about Washington to make much of an educated guess on the issue. However, if Washington leaves Provo with a win, I think it has more to do with BYU being in store for a mediocre season than it does Washington being great.

With a Washington loss and road games remaining @Florida State, TCU, and Utah, that would put BYU in a pretty daunting hole to begin the season.

Anyone else see the abortion known as New Mexico Football? My hell, if they keep this up they're going to have 100 points dumped on them by the Ducks.

It's kinda sad that after a fun and intense Pitt game Utah doesn't have another real game for a few weeks. UNLV and New Mexico could probably be killed by a few HS teams from Utah, Bingham and Timpview.

New Mexico's performance is "Exhibit A" as to why both Utah schools are getting the hell out of the MWC. The bottom feeders of that conference have, and always will bring the others down. That's TCU and Boise's problem now.

I bet you Southern Utah could have went to Oregon and put up a better fight.

Some fans are dumb. Those BYU homers who said that were completely wrong. So I can understand you there.

In a way, every team in college "rebuilds" every year. Maybe for teams like Florida or BYU, the rebuilding project is much larger since they lost players that had been such big parts of their programs for such a long time.

Offensively this was pretty similar to the U last year especially after Asiata went down with an injury, figured Reed should be good but the rest of the WR kinda had to prove it, the O line figured to be pretty good however. The D was different in that it was breaking in 2 CB's that went to the NFL and the D line had some turnover but multiple injuries, however I know as a U fan I looked at it pretty similar overall to how your looking at it 3 losses would be a good season (obviously the rivalry game you always know either team can win any season).
