The main points of this article have been in the back of my mind for a while. However, I'm really not attached to any of these guys except Gobert because of unique skill-set. I love Favors, Hayward, Burks and Hood but I'd be all for trading any and all of them if it made the team better.
The one thing I do know is if The Jazz push the re-set button like they did 3 years ago without bringing back equal or better talent then I'm gone for good. I imagine anyone who values their time would do the same.
I agree the most special allstar can be Gobert AS LONG AS HE STAYS HEALTHY. That is my only concerns with bigs.
Hayward - really tough call. Probably 30th best player in the NBA who may peak at #20 or so. Since he is a UFA after next season, if we can get something good I'd go for it. I have no idea what Hayward is thinking but if money was no longer an issue for me, I would want to win. I assume he will leave after next year unless winning is right in front of him. He almost said that in the article above.
Hood - I would not trade. Him and Gobert are my only locks.
