Washington Post Poll - Trump Leads 46 - 45

Romney is the only candidate I've liked in like 20 years.
And I'm not even Mormon!
Dude couldn't stop lying to save his life to the public but I did like some of his policies especially before his presidential run when he shifted more right. I preferred Huntsman but he never gained serious traction.

Can you also go over the part where his Dad instilled in him that he was too important to be drafted?

Polls show it is not that cut and dry. It is close, even in the EC. Close according to polls at least.

If the average of polls is right it sits at 273-265 Ds.

Clinton has already basically locked down 270 electors. She doesn't need to do anymore than that to win the presidency but she likely will. She is within striking distance in NV, NC, FL, and AZ. Trump is within striking distance in Maine. Even if he picks up a couple of Maine's electors(Maine splits their electors) Clinton would still win.

I agree she has the edge but it is narrowing. FL, NV, AZ, GA and NC have all moved his way the last week.

Yes, anytime you let a child play in the car with the keys in the ignition, there is a chance that the child starts the car and does real damage. That's what the Republicans have given us with the most volatile and incompetent candidate in U.S. history. Comey's b.s. can help explain the jump. Utah will vote Trump (grab 'em by the p**** is going to be Utah's new motto) and so will AZ and GA. FL, NC, and NV are now too close for comfort. I never even imagined we were this sick.

If Hillary weren't such a horrible candidate in her own right, we wouldn't be.

Of course, I wish more people were voting for neither, like me.

Yes, the Dems are partially to blame for putting up such a disliked candidate, who is a woman (this has played an issue, no question). However, when given the choice of amputating a toe or sky diving without a shoot onto a bed of spikes, I'll choose the toe every time. They're both bad, but the false equivalencies have been a travesty. As I've said, I probably would have voted for Evan McMullin, if this weren't an Armageddon election.

She doesn't need to win any of those states. Trump has to win them all and still pick off a state or 2 that is polling in favor of Clinton.

Knowing that MILLIONS of people blissfully wet themselves in the presence of Trump at his rallies is reason enough to doubt the general sanity of this country. This is far from over, despite Clinton's apparent advantage on paper. I like her odds, but Stoked's point is still relevant, and after Comey's statement, Trump's war cry to intimidate voters, and the general apathy towards Clinton, we could wake up on Nov. 9th to the horror of President Trump--the darkest day in U.S. presidential history, until he actually acts as president, that is.

Do you remember learning about WW2 in school and wondering how in the hell someone like Hitler could come to power in a country like Germany?

This is FUBAR and our country will not recover from this for a long, long time.

2020 is when you are going to wet yourself. The dude that follows Trump is gunna be a maniac and he's gunna win.
