Pistolis and Ataman are better. Pablo Laso may be as well.
 
I’ll say it. We need a black head coach.

If we are all about diversity and shedding the racist Utah image, and want to keep Donnie, and attract talent, I think hiring a bright, young, black head coach is a must. I think he’d reach Don in a way Quin’s robotic *** can’t, and held mend the relationship between Don and Rudy. I think he could be the guy to help attract guys to help round out the roster.

Sorry but this Quin situation lingering on is dumb. If it hasn’t been resolved, that’s only bad news long term.

How do you judge better? Barca with Sarunas beat Real this year for ACB championship and cup...so why Laso is better? Pistolis? Really? Only one I can agree with you may be Ataman as he won more as a coach...

You guys are totally ignoring Pendleton. You can't tell me he doesn't warrant a mention. Plus, he took Lemke to the TRX championship without Gant! Come on!? Plus, he did all of that while Avery had an infected septum. Get real.

Ataman is very accomplished, should have a 3peat but they cancelled Euroleage the seasdon they were playing their best. Also winning back to back Euroleague finals and not calling a timeout once in the last 2 minutes is big dick energy.

The turnaround Pistolis created with Galatasaray is nothing sort of miraculous and can't be just reduced to coaching change. There were questions if Galatasaray were even making the playoffs and not they are going head to head against Anadolu Efes. Any time one of Ataman or Pistolis calls a timeout, their teams make a run. Pistolis is not getting outcoaches one bit. Also the sets he run and getting bunch "me first" players to play within a system and defend hard is jaw-dropping.

Jasukevicius is great too, just wanted to chime in with other people.

Bryant is the guy that I'd replace Quinn with if he moves on.

Played at Utah, was an assistant under Quinn from 14-20, known for player development, and has been the associate head coach under Thibs in NY the last two seasons.

Don loves him, Dame loves him, seems to be one of the brightest young minds in the NBA.
