North Carolina vs. 25 Georgia Tech - Upset alert

Notre Dame vs. Pittsburgh - Notre Dame wins out and goes 10-2 - BCS game?

14 Arkansas vs. 3 Alabama - Just a good game

7 Oklahoma State vs. 8 Texas A&M - Is A&M back? My co-worker is an Aggie and got me watching them

11 Florida State vs. 21 Clemson - Upset in the making again and makes Florida State fans say 'next year' just like every year for the last 10 years

Word. I kind of swore off ever turning the channel to the Mtn ever again, but that didn't last long because that guy is worth watching.

Week 3 for Boise State...and that's all that matters.

When you say you're a "pilot", you mean BSU bred truck driver right?

But seriously, talk to us when BSU plays 18 games in the SEC every year against that anabolic speed and size. Until then, you guys suck.

So if BYU loses to Central Florida tonight, is all of Utah Valley placed on suicide watch?

For the record, I think BYU will win, but if they don't, the Bronco situation is going to start looking strangely familiar to Gary Crowton as things started to fall apart. Not to mention the fact that Utah State comes to Provo next week and if you can't handle John White, I don't see how in the world you plan on stopping Robert Turbin.

BYU is going to have their *** handed to them against Utah St.

that offense is hellishly bad.

Can Anae come back yet? Doman as OC? Haha, it was all a joke Bob!

Can Crowton come back?

Can someone from Bingham or Alta High call plays next Friday?

Isn't it more likely that they are the team that has played 3 gimmie games, rather than the one game where everything falls apart in the second half? BYU probably won't blow many teams out because of their offensive problems, but I wouldn't go around predicting any more *** hands either. Their defense is good enough to prevent that, especially against a team like Utah State who is just looking to run the whole game. Let's see if Utah State can even beat Colorado State first today because they are still 0-1 against all teams not named Weber State after all, though I've liked what I've seen of them up until this point.

Sometimes when a team is struggling, all they need is that one win (even if it's ugly) to get themselves over the hump and back on track. IMO, last nights win over UCF was NOT that game for BYU. At first, I thought it would be hilarious to see BYU lose this game, but it turned out being much more comical watching the BYU sideline charge out on the field as time expired to celebrate a win against a mediocre ( and I'm being generous) UCF team who outgained the Cougs by over 130 yards.

In short, BYU still looks broken. While Doman is getting most of the offensive heat, I wonder how long before some of the blame finds it way to Jake Heaps, because it certianly should. Regardless of Doman's ineptness as a OC thus far, you need your 5-Star QB to perform much, much better than what Heaps is currently giving BYU. He has regressed drastically compared to how he looked at the end of last season.

I wouldn't pin much hope on BYU's defense either. They seem to do ok against teams that don't try to force the issue when it comes to the run game. However, I think Utah showed that if you refuse to give up on the run, you will wear them down and start getting chunk yardage. Gary Anderson and Utah St. are going to force the issue all game long and quite frankly the Aggies are probably better suited to punish BYU on the ground even more than Utah was.

The Aggies also don't need to be as one dimensional as Duck makes it sound. Keaton made plays with his arm and legs just fine against an Auburn defense that possessed tons more talent than BYU's. What makes people think he won't be able to make plays against a defense that Jordan Wynn shined against?

Utah St. is the best team in the state this year. Yes, better than that Utah team in the "Conference of Champions."

And that BYU offense, still is hellishly horrible and boring.

Doman was a huge mistake. Sorry, but it's true. Even Mike Leach called Doman out yesterday on the radio.
And Heaps hasn't progressed. The kid still cannot throw with any touch, is nervous, and slow with the reads. If you were to actually pay attention to the offense, you'd notice that the pass timing is off. 3-step drops are slow enough to be 5 or 7-step. While the longer drops are being thrown too quickly, as if they're 3-steps. Heaps has missed so many passes down the seam because he's throwing it too hard and too quickly.

AS jazzman12 stated, Heaps is gonna need to accept some of the responsibility now for this POS offense. The kid talked a good show, but hasn't come close to delivering thus far. Doman? He was supposed to bring back a prolific offense. So far I've seen Anae's shotgun offense mostly, except even more conservative than before.

Personally, I have questions that Heaps will ever be that good. I have serious doubts about that body part between the ears.

It doesn't matter how strong of an arm you have, if you cannot manage the game, you'll always be a very inconsistent QB. Maybe that's why both Anae and Doman haven't "taken the leash off?" Ever thought about that? Perhaps these coaches know something that we don't....

There's no reason why a team returning 10 offensive starters should be struggling to average more than ONE TD PER GAME.

Utah St. will beat BYU. They have the best RB in the state, a very good dual threat QB, and some speedy WRs.

Without that once in every 13 year runbacks, BYU would have been in a tie ballgame yesterday. Don't expect another next Friday to save our butts...

And this is coming from a pretty solid BYU fan folks. This offense is terrible

Well, great job Utah State. You outgain Colorado State by triple digits yet let them stay in the game by fumbling 4 times. I will give props to Gary Anderson for having the sack to go for 2 in OT even though it didn't work out. I think this shows that Utah is indeed the best in-state school. No way CSU leaves SLC with a W.

With that being said, I still think the Aggies are better than BYU and will head into Provo with the intentions of making a statement coming off such a bad loss.

I like balsy football coaches as much as the next guy, but I think you pull that move if the @ Auburn game would have gone that way. Not against Colorado State at home where the odds were more in your favor the longer you drew the game out. They had no resistance whatsoever from the Colorado State defense when given 4 plays from the 25, or a chance to get a couple of first downs and 4 more plays; their running attack was unstoppable at that point. No need to make it a 1 play game when you can have 12 or 8 or 4 or however many it takes you to score against that weak defense. Utah State could have kept scoring all night.

Utah State will lose by at least 21 at BYU. BYU's defense is good enough to shut them down.

Can Southern Utah now replace Utah State as everyone's in-state darling this year? They waxed UNLV 41-16. Granted, UNLV sucks every year, but that's still pretty cool for them and speaks well for the talent at the high school level in Utah considering their roster is pretty much an amalgamation of the "unwanteds" of the 3 bigger Northern Utah schools.

I'm down if you want to make a rushing yards bet. I'm not as confident in the spread of 21 points. What kind of bet? Av/Sig bet or money?

Utah State averages 316 yards/game on the ground. I'll define "shutting them down" as cutting that in half. So if Utah state runs for less than 158 yards, I win. More than that, you win. Taking?
