Agree that Selzer was off by 15 points, but the mainstream polls were underestimating the Trump vote everywhere.

I'm a silver linings kind of person.

At least I'm not a registered Democrat.
At least I'm not a brown skinned immigrant.
At least I'm not a woman and my daughter won't be for a while.
At least I'm not gay or trans or whatever and no one in my family is.
At least I live in a red state.
At least I'm not Ukrainian.
At least I live within my means and if the economy goes in the crapper im quite resourceful and very good at going without. And I'm crafty at coming up with money in creative ways.
At least Kamala won't be the candidate for the Dems in 2028.
At least I get to make fun of trump for the next 4 years and blame any and everything that happens throughout the world on him.

I will be fine. Lots of people will probably get ****ed but at least it's unlikely to be me.

I have said quite a few times on here that who the president is doesn't matter much. I have literally been fine under every president of my 50 years of life. Even in the worst case trump presidency scenario I will likely be fine.
I'm really good at adapting to situations and taking care of myself.

Apparently lots of people were struggling badly when Biden was president. I wouldn't know about that. I'm doing better than at any point in my life currently. I never rely on the president to take care of me.

Gonna get up tomorrow and take my daughter to school and then volunteer for recess duty and cafeteria help like usual and maybe go fishing in the afternoon.

I've said my piece on this. I think the people in charge of the democratic party would rather lose as a neo-con center-right party than win on a progressive ticket.

Additionally, if they were going to run to the center, why'd they choose Walz as their VP? What a waste. Just go with Shapiro if that's what they were going to do.

The people who will copp the blame undeservedly? Muslim-Americans, leftists, young people, Latinos. Constituencies that democrats should have in the bag.

I wonder if they try to abolish the filibuster now.
