I prefer to think they are misled to think competence for the job has anything to do with having "a vision" for the future.

Bat **** crazy people can have great visions. Doesnt mean you are supposed to follow or annoint them.

I get the sentiment and the frustration and this is not directed at you, but there is a cost to writing off and marginalizing a subset of MAGA voters. Many of these people have the capacity to vote for their own interests if there is clearly something that benefits them. Give people something to vote for.

What I am saying is that not everyone is so permanently aggrieved that can't see a comedian's jokes for what they are: jokes. There are more important thing in life, and Latino voters obviously resonated with what Trump has been saying. They don't like the inflation the democrats caused with their reckless spending. They don't think boys pretending to be girls should be competing in girls divisions of youth sports. They don't like being scolded into using "Latinx" to refer to themselves on account of gendered language being unacceptable. Most of all, Latinos are very family oriented and detest the way the left has become so anti-family.

I sure hope the R's can get the House. If they don't I think we can expect new articles of impeachment every other month.

Meh, most people are just haters and are voting for a person who aligns with their hate. It ain't rocket science. History repeats itself and now it's the USA's turn to throw away a good thing by following a charlatan.
