What's new

Welcome to Election Day 2024,

There is some truth, but for right wingers to say name calling is the deciding factor is just lacks so much self-awareness.

It just makes me so mad that there was the whole Epstein angle to play, but Democrats are so afraid of the elite in their party also getting their names in it they refuse to play it.

We got a guy who was BFFS with a child prostitution ring leader as President. Just insane.
I mean all the celebs who endorsed Kamala have definitely been to some Diddy parties.

I'm hoping the takeaway is that vilifying your political opponent can't be the core of your message. That message doesn't resonate with as many people as the far-left think that it does. It may actually have the opposite effect.

Also, who advised Kamala not to go on the Joe Rogan podcast? To me, that was an opportunity to swing a lot of votes if she could of shown a more relatable side.

So we're supposed to act like every single Trump supporter is a NOT scumbag? That's asking too much.

Price gouging has indeed been worse since COVID disrupted the entire economy and drove inflation to record levels, which by the way, the US climbed out of faster and more effectively than any other developed nation. And It was a good thing they started going after the companies engaging in anti-trust practices which kept prices artificially high even while inflation was dropping. I am sure Trump will continue to go after oligarchies in this way to try to bring prices down, right?
He will have the house and senate and hopefully follows through with his no tax for tips or overtime that will put more money in working class citizens pockets which allows them to buy stuff.

(Literally) holding up Biden for as long as they did was dumb af. Harris not doing anything to distance herself from a very unpopular president was dumb af.

Needed a primary. Needed more self awareness from the Dems. I am morbidly curious about what happens now, hopefully it ends up being much more boring than I fear. Democratic primaries for 2028 will be very interesting/depressing, who tf is out there?

Someone needs to do the populist, anti party thing to the Dems that Trump did to the GOP. The democratic party is an embarrassment.

Got a better chance of Trump turning off the democrats weather machine and turning winter into summer.

In any case, anybody here who thinks things are likely to get better during a Trump admin are going to be waiting. If anything, if he does what he says he'll do in a vacuum, things are only going to get significantly worse. The brunt of those effects are long-term though. I'm not looking forward to the part where Trump guys are telling us how great things are when the stock market goes up a couple points. As if he's the one drawing the line, and as if that benefits any of them directly.

I wonder what economic consequences will arise when he deports 10 million "Illegal rapists" from the country and starts a trade war with our biggest economic partner.

Those would be the same people who refused to let Kamala do any interviews from anyone in the first month and a half of her candidacy. It was the thinking of those closest to her who know she doesn't have the charm to win over a room, and is a trainwreck when speaking extemporaneously. They weren't wrong. Many of these so-called opportunities for Kamala ended up increasing Trump's support. Kamala ran the best campaign she was capable of running. She is a terrible candidate.

I’m quite the opposite of a scumbag. One of the best people you’d ever meet. Not really a Trump supporter just the better option.
When you say stuff like this you just sound like a scumbag. LMAO I didn't think you were before but now I might.

Be surprised if 10,000 people get deported. Be interesting to see the economy melt when he brings in tariffs, I'm also curious to see how this project 2025 **** shakes out.

It is supply and demand. The cost of domestic labor will go up putting the American worker in a position to command a higher compensation for his or her work.

Stolen quote, but nail on the head.

  • Paid sick leave in Nebraska passed
  • $15 minimum wage in deep-red Missouri passed
  • LGBT protections passed across the country
  • Abortion rights got codified in twelve states last night
And yet Democrats are completely flailing on the national stage. People! Love! Progressive! Policies! Your wishy-washy centrism is NOT what we need or want.

I think to the average voter the identity politics being front and center is just a huge turn off.

Thank you Econ 101 textbook man. You can now go back to your horny posting about AI women and weird conspiracy ****.

I voted yes on Prop 139 in Arizona and it passed so I had a great night last night. For those not familiar because you likely don’t live in AZ it amends the current law of banning abortions passed week 15. A pro-choice Trump voter. What a piece of **** I am right?
