Just have a feeling that we are happy to be where we are and are going down with smiles on our faces

We could have watched and tried to do what the wolves did successfully against Houston. No time to feel out a game in the playoffs.

Isn't the job of the assistant coaches job to prepare for the next opponent?

He played the rest of the game with no problem, and the Jazz have been mum on the issue. When I first saw it, I thought it was the end of his season. I don't know how he came out of that without a serious injury. The only explanation that makes sense is he must have made a Faustian pact with the devil. Hope he sold his soul for a couple of titles, not something trivial like ROY.Any news on Spida’s ankle? He ok?
Yep, according to Locke and his numbers this series is over we should be happy we are here and roll over the Houston's greatness.Locke said on his live Facebook show last week that Alex Jensen would be responsible for the scouting report on the Rockets, and once the Jazz were done Friday night, that he’d give the report to Quin and that they’d (coaching staff) more than likely be up all night game planning for Houston due to the quick turnaround.

I don't have to try. I welcome you to maintain your mistaken belief that the playoff schedule was unfair to us in a way that is completely unique in the history of basketball.
You have yet to post an example of a team getting as short of a break between games as us while switching series.
I will wait
Yep. I saw that surrender coming a mile away.Feel free to wait, of course.

Yeah, I gave up a few hours ago. Thanks for sticking with it.
What surrender? Was I in a fight with either of you? If you want to believe that the Jazz have been uniquely disadvantaged, over the course of the last 70 years of NBA playoffs, is there a reason I should care enough to go through years of schedules to find another case when the last team to play game 6 on Friday night had game 7 on Sunday afternoon in order to change your minds? You both would just pick out some other reason the Jazz were uniquely disadvantaged anyhow.
The situation was very rare and a massive disadvantage for our team. We didn't lose because of this very rare scheduling situation, but it didn't help. The NBA should provide at least 48 hours between the end of one series and the start of another. I would say this for all 30 teams.
This "rare scheduling situation" happens every year in the first round of the playoffs. Outside of that, I have nothing more to say on the matter.

The same thing happened in 1988(?). The Jazz wrapped up their 1st round series on a Friday night, then had to be in LA for a Sunday matinee against the Lakers. It had two differences, however: 1) they didn't have TNT/ESPN back then, so the Friday night game started on hour earlier, 2) the Jazz gained an hour traveling to LA, instead of losing an hour traveling to Houston. You have yet to post an example of a team getting as short of a break between games as us while switching series.

Coaching staff wasn't ready there seemed to be no real plan for that game.

Fascinating template.
Agreed, but we just gave them a free pass in the series. One we probably couldn't afford. If I recall correctly, Quin mentioned in his post-game interview that the coaching staff were working on the game plan, but that there wouldn't be much time for them to impart it to the players.
I don't know that the guys got much sleep. At 3am after Friday's game, at least Ricky, Donovan and Joe were tweeting each other about being unable to sleep. I get that - I couldn't sleep either.
Whether it has been done previously or not, it is unfair. There is no reason the game couldn't have been played tonight since the next game isn't until Wednesday.
