The only setback I can see with these recent moves is that Corbin will probably get a pass this year in terms of wins and losses. Jazz would have to have a epic meltdown (like a 2-20 start) for them to ditch Corbin.
Taking that into consideration, Corbin has no reason to hand over major minutes to Jefferson or Beidrins or Tinsley. These guys are just place fillers for one year. There is no upside to playing them.
I will say that the one really encouraging thing that I saw coming out of summer league on Sunday was that Gobert/Evans were setting screens for Trey near the three point line. Triggering pick and roll opportunities near the three point line rather than closer to the paint was one of the main advantages of the Stockton/Malone combo.
