What's new

what other teams besides Utah can offer max contract for Big Al?

With D-Will And Boozer we did make it into the Conference Finals .. that was pretty cool other then the Spurs cleaned our clocks lol

Let me offer a re statement that has been said by most on this board. WHY resign and be no better than we are now. If they were stupid enough to offer Jefferson $5 bucks then coach would be forced to play him over the young guys because he's the vet bla bla bla.... There is a glimmer of hope though, they didn't persue Boozer when his contract was done because they knew he wasn't going to bring them a championship. Hopefully they haven't lost that train of thought because Jefferson has no chance of a title.

because boozer attitude and his whishes to be in utah where in question.
jefefrson wants to be a lifetime jazzman.
and say what you want about his oncourt skills and lack of defines, he has a great off court attitude

We will need depth behind Kanter and Favors to win more game than that. But providing we do get a player or 2 to back them up I think you are wrong. If the roles of Favors/Kanter had been reversed with Millsap and Jefferson this year I actually think we win the same if not more games. The increase in defense would make up for the decrease in offense.

also it is a question if there is a system how much the ofensive decrease will be.

seeingas jefferon is the least effective in scoring on the jazz(as far as the bigs go)

look at charlotte and Detroit. Young teams who have drafted some stellar players and are still bottom feeders. The problem of relying on youth is that you build them up for 3-5 years before finding out that expectations are greater than reality and so you have to put your faith in the draft and repeat the process. Developing a star out of a young player just doesn't happen that often. We should clear cap and acquire one.

look at GSW and OKC.
jazz talentwise compare most to those 2 teams
than okc and charlotte(for **** sake did you really compare jazz youngsters to charlotte drafted youngsters?). wtf
are you high? if you took the best 5 drafted bobcats players in there history. and put them against C4 + carroll
asuming they get a training camp and same caliber coaching. c4+carroll will win 9 out of 10 times.

wow. still cant beleive it did you really compare jazz talent to bobcats?
really? or is something lost in translation.

NEGGED FOR STUPIDITY

a ****ing idiot who apparently needs some more work with her reading comprehension skills. I was talking about the pattern of building the youth results in a vicious circularity when the youth doesn't pan out. And you are damn straight when I say I would rather have kemba walker and Michael kidd-Gilchrist over our current backcourt.

I'm curious to know what you think. When Comapring Andrew and Aaron Harrison, How much better is Andrew?

Andrew is an anomaly in today's game. He has terrific size, a fantastic bbIQ, all the required athleticism, changes of speed, ball-handling, and intangibles... all while embracing and being a pure PG. This is what makes him better than Aaron that has most of all the same skill but thinks SCORE.. and is a prolific scorer/shooter. Its the roles they picked years ago..

no body every bags on Jefferson for his attitude on or off the court. He's a great guy. He's a great teamate. The problem he has is the same as Boozer, defense wins and neither of them tried hard enough on that end of the court.

you have to admit Al has started passing and plays defense every once in a while if he isn't to tired from pump faking and palming the ball.. if you have a team that can't score he's your dude and he's decent down the stretch in tight games
remember all those games we lost with D-Will, Booz and Memo .. just cause they had a hard time finishing? .. I never have thought Al was our guy but he'd make all heck of a bench player lol

.....the Jazz would win 30 plus games next year even if they let go Milsap and Jefferson....and signed NO ONE! The key is dumping Corbin and getting a REAL coach in there!
