What Price Should the Jazz Extend THT?

Dillon Brooks got 4/86M lmao. I don’t evaluate players on emotion like you do.
That's one team...

Not like the Rockets had a need for a guy like THT. It's called betting on yourself.

He saw his PG competition in Utah and laughed, then realized he was in a great situation to maximize his value so he opted in.

THT got handed the starting job when we needed an effective tank commander to drive the team into the ditch, quicly.

These are the facts of the case and they are undisputed.
Hardy didnt tank. Ainge tanked with a trade.

If Hardy wanted to truly tank he could have started Juzang and Micah Potter.

Sure, and maybe the Jazz FO doesn't love that contract, but I the point still stands. If you are ok with Sexton at 4/$72, you would have to think THT is soooo much worse if you think 4/$60 for him is egregious. THT being the starter doesn't really speak Sexton >>>>> THT to me.
The difference was that Sexton didn't have a stud PG waiting on the wings to subsume his minutes when we signed him. I think there is a price you pull the trigger on re-upping THT. I wouldn't pay him like a long term starter, because he isn't that.

Save face? So I'm a time traveler who knew this would occur and said that to save face?

You're reaching harder than Sexton does trying to act like a PG.

If you were a time traveler you wouldn’t be as wrong as you consistently are lmao.

I actually like tht but threads like this and talking about it in every other thread makes it harder to like him

Yep. Its funny cause I was one of the few who were defending THT early last year but all the trolling has made me not like THT anymore.

Legit love that some posters are such babies they let things like a poster really liking a player bother them so much that it changes their opinion.
Its not the really liking a player its the trolling

Eh, if Sexton's contract is tradeable that's a good thing regardless of Keyonte. We should be in the business of accumulating and holding onto as many good assets as possible. If both sides were to land on the same number it would probably be just above the full MLE, which isn't necessarily starter money.
