Rookies don’t generally “add” to either side of the court. You hope they develop without hurting you too much. I think Taylor will be good enough at providing some benefits while staying “out of the way” so to speak. Sensabaugh is going to be a worse defender than Taylor… if you are telling me we hand him the ball on offense in a secondary or tertiary role he’s going to hurt more than he helps on that side too… we will see.I just dont think that rookies generally add to defense (unless they are the elite of the elite and I just dont think Hendricks is that on D) and the position Hendricks more naturally plays is more crowded than Brice's. I just think Brice has a higher likelihood of contributing early (again, he was arguably the best offensive freshman in the nation along with Brandon Miller) and that his potential year 1 contributions are underdiscussed.
