Who gives a ****? Rutgers is going to be undefeated in 2012.
Agreed. Go Scarlet Knights!(I think)

You really think you could beat 9 out of the current PAC 10 teams this upcoming year? That's what it takes.
Hell, Utah won't even win the MWC this year, and you think you'd win the PAC 10?
Look, it's not a bad life for the athletic program being Arizona/Arizona State/Washington State/Oregon State/UCLA/Stanford/Cal. They'll get a little extra money....be able to hire strippers now for potential Utah recruits....buy the occasional Reggie Bush.....whatever. Utah fans should just look at it as a tax. The product goes down, you guys end up having to pay more for tickets. Win-win. No sour grapes. Lemon juice.
Boy, that was a bad photoshop.
The short answer is, Yes. They could. I don't think there is any team in the PAC 10 that they have no chance against, right now. That being said, I would like TCU or BYU's chances in the same scenario, also.
Salty, do you even know your own team? You guys lost one ****ing game with Cain and two with Jordan Wynn. Why would you even act like that matters? You guys probably would have lost that game by a wider margin if Wynn played. He got hammered in big games and couldn't respond to the physicality. I fully expect that to be the case for three more years. Dude's a wuss.
As far as recruiting, nothing's going to change. Utah will become Washington State and move their recruiting into the 40's on Scout.com or whatever by picking up a few extra guys. Big whoop. Almost none of our recruiting class last year even gave Utah a thought. Jake Heaps wasn't going to go Utah under any circumstances. Ross Apo wasn't going to Utah under any circumstances. And on and on and on. Nothing's changed at BYU. Or were you mistaken that recruits were coming to BYU just because they are in the same conference in Utah?
Don't be. Did I ever mention that Utah has won only six conference championships in the last 46 years on here? BYU has won 23. Get out of here with your garbage. They aren't even on the same level as programs.
So then this year, who are these teams that you think would finish ahead of the Utes in the PAC this year?To tell you you my opinion on it, I think Utah will be in the top 1/3 of the new PAC just about every year, with a shot at winning it some years. My only point was that I don't think this next year (2010) is one of those years.
So then this year, who are these teams that you think would finish ahead of the Utes in the PAC this year?
I could understand your argument if you said this year the Utes would do well in the PAC, but in the future you don't see it or something like that. But you pretty much said the opposite, that Utah would suck in the PAC this year but in the future they will do well.
I just can't see how anyone can say that. The team that won the PAC (and all the "experts" picked to win the PAC this year too) is a team that barely beat Utah, with Utah's crappy QB starting, in Oregon, and has since kicked their starting QB off the team.
The team that finished second is now getting smacked down by the NCAA and won't be in contention for several years.
One of the teams that tied for 3rd int he PAC is the team Utah blew out in the Poinsettia Bowl.
Utah is going to be a lot better this year than last year. I don't think anyone disputes that. Last year we had a new QB who was fresh out of high school and everyone expected to red shirt. He will be a lot better and more experienced this year. We also had 2 new coordinators. And we still would have finished int he top 1/3 of the PAC last year.
Yeah, I would love to see the teams you think would finish ahead of Utah in the PAC this year, or would beat Utah head to head.
Rose Bowl or Vegas Bowl? Do you honestly see most recruits picking BYU? Maybe a few here and there for religious reasons. But nobody is going to pick BYU for football reasons, that's for sure.
