What's acceptable win total for next season?

Either 0 or 82 are correct answers. Anything in between is failure.

48 for me. No reason we can't win 50.

That is some surprising stats. I wonder if it is because Kanter and Burks were forced to be on the bench. But lets look at our preferred young core starters - Burke, Hayward, Burks, Kanter and Favors. What do we have left? Garbage.
Exactly. The Jazz were either going to have a strong starting unit and the worst bench in the league, or a weaker starting group and passable bench.

Portland was in a similar situation last year and won 33 games. However, they have two all-stars in Aldridge and Lillard and a solid veteran in Matthews. We don't have nearly that same talent. But improve the depth and I could see Utah making a 15-20 game leap in wins. That won't put Utah in the playoffs, but it gets them around .500.

I think you guys are crazy if you think we could get to 40 wins next year. That would mean that whoever we drafted, would have a historically great rookie season.

LeBron came in and averaged 20 pts a night, and Cleveland only won 35 games that year.

And no, no coach is going to take a 23 win team and add 17 wins. Sorry.

We will be in the 25-35 win range, depending on how good our rookie is, and how good our coach can teach this team to play defense. If our defense doesn't improve, we will be closer to 25 wins.
