Just because a man and woman are divorced does not mean that the parent without custody (usually the man) is not involved and a role model. I am extremely active in my daughters lives. See them often and frequently. I know about their schooling, friends (by name), likes in boys, clothes, activities...

Edit: I teach them to keep their word, be honest, respectful to their mother and family, not to bully...

I do not think you meant that men not married to a woman cannot be role models but that is the impression your post implies and I am living proof that it is false.

I'm just responding to a couple of articles from men who grew up in lesbian households, who claimed the lack of a male role model was a severe handicap to their lives. Men like you were not intended to be included in that discussion. I apologize for any offense.

In both cases, from what I can tell, the parents in question started out in heterosexual relationships, then came out as lesbians. So, you are just wrong, as usual.
