What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Watched The Secret Life of Walter Middy last night with my family. My daughter mentioned that it's popular right now with the college kids and when she told me Ben Stiller was in it I was all in. Damn, what a great movie. Hilarious and heart-wrenching at the same time. Must be Stiller's best work, and he directed it. Kristen Wiig is great and there's even a cameo by Sean Penn.

It’s an old movie.. why has it become popular again?

No ****.. still doesn’t explain it. They’re completely different.
Are you trying to be stupid? Typically people watch a director's (or actor's) work and like it, they are going to check out what else they've done. Doesnt matter if it's like it or not. He's a fantastic director and the hype of Severance drew attention to his prior work.

It's like how Memento got more popular after Nolan's other films blew up.

Watched Eddington today. I wouldn’t say I loved it but I liked it very much so and am definitely going to rewatch it. I have a feeling I’d like it even more the second time around.

I think it does a very good at painting both sides at being out of touch with reality from 2020 forward when it comes to Covid and other issues that have been at the forefront of society during this time.

Memento is probably my personal favorite Guy Pearce flick, followed closely by Priscilla.
