Who do you close with?

Four games in to the season and my thought is that Joe Johnson closing games gives us a better chance to win. In my mind, this complicates things because you want want others out there for development (if Joe is in, then he takes the place of Hayward, Hood, or Favors and these guys need to learn to close games.)

So my question to you is, who should the Jazz close with?

Another thought... I still don't trust this team to win games in the final 2 minutes. The key to winning more games is to go on a run with 5 minutes left, like they did against the Lakers and Spurs.

JJ is a good fit for closing out games. He is very composed due to his experience. However, he does tend to keep the ball rather than making the extra pass to an open teammate. Saw it a few times last night.

I'd still like a mix of players getting closing experience. It would be great for Exum and Lyles to be in those situations.

For the first time in a long time the Jazz can go with whatever causes matchup problems for the other team. Adding Heyward is just going to bring more awesome.

I think G Hill has proven he is going to be the man with the ball in his hands. He doesn't turn it over, he makes good decisions, he can shoot the three or take it inside, and he has the passing skills. Between him and Hayward we are going to rock.

Before the season started I said Hill, Hood, Hayward, JJ, and Favors. But with Gobert's improved free throw shooting it would be hard to take him off the court. So... I dunno. JJ still has some big advantages, as do Hill, Hood, Hayward, and Favors.

Hill is a much better ball handler than I knew, and he's much quicker than I suspected. Also, like you said, he seems to make good decisions as well. All in all a fabulous pickup.

When healthy: Hill/Hood/Hayward/Favors/Gobert - on certain occasions though I can definitely see JJ filling in for Hood most likely.
Now: Hill/Hood/JJ/Favors/Gobert

Some of the Spurs fans are saying that George should be S.A.'s FA pickup next year.
