This. Though I do more than yelp. We had horrible experiences with Comcast's customer service for years. I finally email bombed every executive in the company one midnight and got a phone call just hours later on Xmas Eve morning. The problem was fixed instantaneously, money was credited to our account and I've negotiated like a mastermind ever since. Similarly, when my Capital One card with about $4,000 on it was hit with some bs charge (either an annual charge or ridiculous late fee) that I was told would not be taken off my statement, I sent a long email essentially saying they are to cancel my card upon a $0 balance immediately and that their short-sighted approach in not offering me a reprieve was absolutely moronic considering the interest they've made off of me over the years and that I looked forward to taking my business elsewhere. Within 24 hours, I got a polite phone call telling me they took the charge off. Some fights just can't be won. But most of the time, people, that is the consumers, don't fight hard enough or wisely enough.
