I think the roster limit of 12 is dumb. The guys get paid and work there butts on they should be able to wear the uniform. Even in a normal schedule there are nights were the starters aren't playing well so throw some guy in who is hungry to play. I remember how close B. Russell was to getting cut. He was at the end of the bench and then got the opportunity to play and he became a regular starter. I am sure coaches hate tell guys they are wearing suits. I think Evans could earn some minutes if he continues to play well. Regardless, it is going to suck for a good player.

I totally agree with this. If the league is making every team carry 13 guys why not let them all dress.

We can only dress 12 players?? Damn.

From the get-go, it will probably be Kanter, though I doubt he gets sent to the d-league. Keep in mind that tho is a 66 game season, different players will be fatigued at different times, meaning that Corbin will have to experiment with a variety of lineups.
Yes, good point. And since the Jazz have a big-man coach to work specifically with Favors and Kanter, my guess is they'll want to keep Enes with the team, rather than send him to Boise. Unfortunately, this is the season the Jazz really could have used a team in Orem to their advanatage, shuttling Kanter off to play in their home games and then back to practice with the Jazz.

I agree with the fatigue factor. The inactive squad could be used to give various players some rest during the season. For example, I wouldn't be surprised to see Memo be inactive once a week.

I take it our small forward scrubs and McBrick and/or Jammal are dead men walking.

I think we'll keep Tinsley, but he'll be relegated to 14th (hence, inactive) man. The rest of them are living jazz life with an audible clock-ticking sound over their heads.

If you send the 3rd pick of the draft to the D-League, then you drafted the wrong player.

Exactly - when The Grizzlies sent Thabeet to the D-League their FO was the laughing stock of the NBA.

Kanter will have to fall on his face more than once to end up in the D-League.
