The roster is currently at 18 guys. There's probably a good chance that more trades are coming before the season starts, but if not, 3 guys will have to be waived to get the roster down to 15 by opening night. Who do you think is on the chopping block?

Question, with ex10 contracts if you wave the guy you can designate him as one of your 5 designated Gleague players. Can you do the same if you wave a guy with a normal contract as long as they clear wavers?

Lee and Butler... final roster spot is either Stanley getting moved into a tpe or waiving Dok. Based on us acquiring 3 centers (who's ethnicity I will not mention) this week I am not sure the team is sold on Dok being healthy or a long term prospect.

Given the Andy Larsen reporting (or just tweeting) of Dok looking good in the off-season I think he stays.

The stuff Utah has been posting on social media lately Dok looks to be in great shape.

It will be whoever it's cheapest to waive, since the contracts stay on the books. I'm guessing Butler, Johnson, Lee.

Bolmaro... Stanley Johson... Wonder about Lee... but this trade is spinning my mind in a loop and I don't know what to think about Lee.

FFS I was going to make a joke about us sending Stanley Johnson and Butler out for more players, longer-term salaries, and dead weight, but as I went through the trade checker trying to find bad trades that make no sense, I literally couldn’t make a worse trade than the Beverley and Bogdanovic trades. Seriously. Go try it.

I like Lee kind of… but Detroit gave us cash considerations equal to Lee’s salary… so that tells me he isn’t a sweetener but an add in. They will likely look at him through camp and if he plays well he may not get cut but as of right now I think he’s #1 on the chopping block.

I think he likely sticks if he gets through camp healthy. I think a team would take Stanley Johnson into a TPE. Maybe Danny does Boston a solid.

I will be sad when JB gets cut or traded… but as the roster sits he still doesn’t have a route to 15 minutes a night… and that is why I think we made some errors here with the roster… as it sits THT, Bolmaro, Dok or Kessler, NAW aren’t going to see the floor. If they are showcasing Gay then that gonna cut into Simone time. They needed to cut deeper and weren’t willing to discount some of the vets enough.

I'd love to see Butler be given the reins and just let him play through mistakes. But I have to assume Conley won't be dealt and Clarkson is 50/50 if he remains on the Jazz at the start of the season. It's not that I don't think Conley can't mentor, but I really don't want anyone getting any ideas about trying to win games and playing Mike heavy minutes. We must #SuckforScoot and be #WeakforWem.

It would have made more sense to just cut Bev… he’d have given back a couple Million if he knew he had a vet min deal with the Lakers. I think he had let it known he didn’t want to be here… I wish we would have just let the Pacers do whatever they were going to.

It’s just weird we are willing to be so patient sometimes but weren’t willing to wait on the THT deal. He’s not good and if you don’t clear the logjam we have then he won’t play. Haven’t seen him in any of the team building videos either… is he here? If we loved him so much and really wanted him to flourish I’d think he would be here. He might be here and I just haven’t seen it.

Surprised you guys reckon they'll move on from Butler so quickly, that said he hardly set the world on fire last year.
