NAOS had a spat with Spazz and NAOS left in haste.

Spazz oviously felt bad enough about it to never return.

Spazz was getting disillusioned with JF back when I left. We both left for lots of the same reasons. A big part was that the board was almost unreadable due to overactive trolls, which turned even some normally good and entertaining posters into wanna-be trolls...you know who you are...and it just wasn't worth the time. Hopefully he comes back as well. One of my favorite posters here.

That said, I never quite got the need or desire or the whatever it is that make someone turn into an internet troll. To me it speaks of deepseated insecurities to find humor or satisfaction or whatever in existing solely to piss people off. It is like the 12 year old kid never grew up and can only let their true self show in an anonymous forum where they can spew their **** and not be shunned by the normal people they interact with every day irl. I think banter is fun and can liven things up, but when that banter NEVER stops, and they cannot express a single thought without doing everything in their power to turn it into a belittling experience for someone else, well that is just sad. And frankly not worth the time.
