That would be a dream, but why would the Celtics get rid of the actual Rondo for a kid we all hope will be Rondo?
Just yankin' chains. It is unusual the Celtics would promise a PG, unless they plan on dealing Rondo. But Rajon would cost a LOT more than what I posted.

I'd rather have McCulloum but would be very happy if Schroeder is there at 14.

But a bunch of combos I'd be ok with.

If we can get any of these guys at 14:

Burke (almost any of the guys slated to go in the top 10 or so, though I won't name them all)
McCullum
Bazz
Schroeder
Pope

21:

Larkin
Saric
Gobert
Hardaway Jr
Crabee
Karsarv
Mitchell

and either Wolters or Kabongo with the 2nd round (or another PG) I'd be fine with most of the combos.

With a name like Nate505, you should really put Wolters in with your #21 choices, I doubt he'll be there w/ our 2nd round. Overall, I liked your list at the #'s, just not Bazz at anything (weak right hand, can't shoot off dribble, ball hog, too tempting for Corbin to make him the entire offense, no defense, no lateral speed), or Larkin @21 (atrocious defense that likely won't get any better in time because he is so small and would have to stand straight up to guard people, thus couldn't utilize his athleticism because he'll be standing straight up).

I think Wolters would be a reach at 21, but wouldn't be too bothered by it. I wouldn't bet against him being gone by the time the Jazz pick in the second either.

Larkin's size isn't great, but Ty Lawson has made a living in this league with similar measurements (though Lawson's standing reach is 5 inches longer). I just think his speed, superior athleticism, and leadership qualities would be good for that sort of pick at 21.

I won't deny Bazz has concerns, and won't deny whatever Ty will do to mess things up, but I still would like to see the Jazz swing for superstar potential once in a lifetime, and at #14 the potential for Bazz is worth it to me.

Then again who knows about any of this. I really was happy when the Jazz drafted Kirk Snyder and thought he would be the next athletic dynamic 2 guard the Jazz had been missing, and boy, that didn't end up well at all.

How much do I want Schroeder on the Jazz?

His #4 Jazz Jersey would be the first Jazz Jersey I'll EVER buy - let's put it that way.

Rumor is that the Celtics made Schroeder a promise at 16, so there is room still for the Jazz at 14 unless Celtics can jump ahead. I also see Dallas and OKC as threat at 13 and 12.

Soap hat exactly has Schroeder said about the Jazz? The only thin I can find is him saying he'd like us because we need a PG and he'd get minutes. If that's all he said, I wonder how that enthusiasm would carry out after Corbin nails him to the bench.

For what its worth, Larkin was runner up to his teammate for ACC DPOY, losing by 2 votes. He is small by NBA standards, but he isn't an atrocious defender.

Hey, I like your avatar. I like mine a little better though.

I think Schroeder would be a good pick at 14, but I definitely think taking a flyer on Nate Wolters at 21 would be worth it. He just looks like a pro point guard. He is a natural shooter and scorer and I've been very impressed the four times I have seen him play on TV. This is one of the worst drafts I can ever remember. I seriously doubt anyone from this draft is going to make an all-star team.

Thats huge man.. since Stockton and AK jerseys I have yet to find another one worth purchasing. Lets hope you right and Shroeder will end up as Jazman. I like kid a lot.

I hear Jefferson and Millsap jerseys can be had for pretty cheap.

Schroeder Is going to be a very good PG in my Opinion. Who ever gets him will be very happy
