Who will be our opening night starting lineup?

Besides Lauri and Kessler, who will be in our opening night starting lineup (Pick 3)?

Like the more I think about it the less I like the idea that Flip would run with Nurkic instead of Kessler. They have pretty similar strenghts and weaknesses and dont really compelement each other in any ways I can think of.

Whether Hardy thinks Flip is ready to play with the big boys or not is a completely different question... but if he has shown up in practices like he did in SL, then I dont see how you would take him off rotation so he has to play with one of our other bigs.

That is assuming Kessler (30) / Nurkic (18) is our rotation at center.... which to me makes sense but may not end up being the case.

Very good thoughts. I think I agree with you almost entirely.

I picked my starting lineup based more on defensive concepts. I'm hoping that the starting lineup is able to hold its own and punch back on that side of the ball, even if there's a quick sub at the 6-minute mark that's tooled around the offense.

Ace // Key
Lauri // Brice
Hendricks // Filipowski
Kessler // Nurkic

This seems most logical to me. Lauri really needs to be traded and Brice inserted into the starting lineup he needs to be brought along fast

If Hardy can bring himself not to start Key, then this should b the rotation- I just don’t see that Key doesn’t start w/Hardy as coach…

Hardy has been softer on Key verbally than ANY of his non-veteran players- with the leadership role he’s taken in the offseason, which will be hard to continue if he’s coming off the bench, and his improved passing, and Hardy’s lack of caring/emphasis on D, I just think he’ll proomote Key up as high as is reasonable, with motivated reasoning…
