Imo Green makes the most sense. He already has chemistry with Conley. He's a veteran with a lot of experience and as the 5th guy won't be asked to do much except be consistent and do the small things like make make open shots, grab rebounds and defend.

Ingles off the bench would help this roster a lot. The bench lacked a player like him last season.

But my guess is that Royce starts. Tony Jones has been accurate about everything else Jazz related this offseason and he seems to think that the Jazz are leaning towards Royce. So

Big fan of Bojan getting lots of minutes. Probably in the top 2 or 3 on the team. Joe won't help the 2nd unit offensively and Bojan would be the go to guy. And he could still finish games.

I think Joe would help the bench a lot offensively because of his ability to initiate the offense and create good shot opportunities for teammates.
Especially since we don't have a real backup PG.

Not happening.

Bojan will start but I bet his minutes will be staggered so that he can play a lot with the second unit. Just like Favors and Ingles last year.

Depends on how you define starter. I think they will start Ingles and Bojan but one of them will sit fairly early.

I think Joe will get some starts as the veteran who "deserves" to start. But that said, Royce O'Neale would give our starting line-up more defense, athleticism and rebounds than Joe would.

Ron is likely talking about Ginobili-esque bench players who finish games and are essentially starter level in minutes played and importance.

Sure. That’s not what’s being asked. Starters are the guys that start the game.

I think green starts. Only plays a few minutes and goes out similar to favors last year

I think so too and I think it's a good idea. The Jazz had a tendency to start games a little slow last year and Green is the kind of player who can get the energy going early with a big dunk or two.

Who plays the most and finishes the game with the starting unit. Like favors and Crowder last year.

That’s a different question than who starts the game... that would be who finishes the game and who plays the most?

Ingles starts, he just subs out early. He spaces the floor better than anyone and I think that's more valuable to start the game. I don't think he will be as tired as last year, his usage with the main line-up will be low.
