We will, of course, shoot better and that's that. The only stat that was off on the calculations was the shooting percentage and over the long-haul it will revert back to the mean. As long as we play 82 playoff games we are guaranteed to win at least 42 of them.

I’d be curious on the context. They asked him room to improve and he bypassed this by saying talk to someone else about roster? How about keeping guys engaged, setting a tone for a sense of urgency, instilling confidence when times are rough, mentally withstanding pressure situations, etc., etc.? Are those all roster construction, too?

No when he says they are meeting to discuss what happened on the floor he will present a lot of pie graphs and SPCs with all the outliers circled and the regression analysis to show that if we just maximized hand pads we would move closer to the mean. He will mumble something about standard deviation and Markov's inequality and confidence intervals and negative binomial distributions then he will grab all the charts in his arms and run out of the room. They will extend his contract after that.

I also remember a guy playing with some energy/spark that got a lot of DNPs... like maybe play Paschall if you need spark?
