I have bad news for everyone... I got in a time machine and saw the future... couple excerpts from the DL presser after the buyout and trade deadline.
"we were very aggressive in looking at different trades and took a few phone calls but we really like our guys and nothing great shook out."
"we were very aggressive in looking at buyout guys but didn't find a match out in the market"
We will not make a trade or pickup anyone. The only move I could see out there is us ducking the tax somehow but I'm not even sure its possible. I want to make it clear... I don't think this is the wrong approach. It is going to be tough to find something better on a minimum than what Niang, Oni, Morgan, or Shaq could bring. We should kick the tires on anything interesting... if Griffin or Love buyout were to happen (their teams would be dumb to do it) then sure lets look at that. If Houston couldn't find a deal for PJ Tucker then go for it. Ariza? I'd have to see if he's in shape.
