I mean, this should let us know how serious they are about rebuilding right? We really need to lose this game.

Sucks, but prolly true. I'm gonna be optimistic that Lindsey finally tells Corbin to **** off and stop winning games.

We'll win because the Lakers are already planning to lose while we are just considering losing.

I'd only assume Corbin plans to capitalize on low-hanging fruit.

Corbin and the Jazz players have never and will never lose a game on purpose.

Not saying the players should, but Lindsey could direct Corbin to play all of the bench guys to "evaluate". But as mentioned likely won't happen because that would be too smart.

Nah, the GM has no power over Corbin right now (especially this late in the season). Yes, Lindsey has the ability to fire, but ultimately that is the Miller's call.

Will they. NO. Should they. Yes. Corbin should be driving a garbage truck and not coaching a professional basketball team. Expect Marv and Jefferson to start and get 30 minutes too.

Good thread...this debate has lasted the whole season....at a certain point it seemed the Jazz were tanking hard in the last 20 games but the Burke's game winner and the win against NO have restored into question once again everything.

I'm not so optimistic for the Lakers game...but it has been an unpredictable season so far....so everything is possible.

Anyway the Jazz have all the reasons of the world to lose this game!

Jazz players are tired. They've been worked too hard this year. Time to take a page out of the Pacers book and DNP all of the Core5.

Start Gobert, Marvin, Jefferson, Garrett and JLIII. Give them all 30+ minutes and then give Evans, Murphy, Clark and Thompson some playing time as well.

Don't take any chances with the Core5. Those dudes need som rest.

whats abouts jefferson?

Jefferson gets to be the man. Seriously. Gobert, Williams and JLIII aren't going to do it. Garret might try to do it all on his own, but I think it's most likely that Richard "The Veteran" Jefferson puts the team on his back. It's critical for his development to show the young'ens how to be professionals.
