Its hard to imagine that AD will become washed up as quickly as Pierce and company. No matter what, LA should have AD as long as there are picks (2024). He should sign a 4 year deal next summer.

The Lakers won't beat the Jazz once next year! Rudy will neutralize AD and Lebron is just about over the hill! Even without any changes to our roster we will average 8-10 dunks on those clowns, especially if Rubio stays put! To even keep the games close AD and Lebron will have to score 40 points each! Not going to happen!

This is how the Lakers get to operate, trading their 1st rounders like candy since they know big names will always flock to them. Followed by veteran ring chasers to fill out their roster. More reason to hate the Lakers.

The Lakers will have around $30 million in cap space. I have been saying that we should waive Favors and re-sign him to a deal around $12 per year.
If Favors goes to LA, its got to be for more money or playing time or both. Well, he won't start with LBJ, Kuz and AD starting. As for money, I don't see LA spending half their cap space on a bench PF/C.
The Lakers aren't a Favors destination anymore. Getting AD while keeping Kuzma killed that.
